It is a colorful one :) They are not native to the U.S. This one was seen in an enclosed Garden Atrium at a University in the State of Florida which also included a number of species of birds as well. . . The butterfly eggs are shipped in from various places around the world and the University studies the various stages of the morphing process and then releases the Butterflies into the enclosed Garden area for people to enjoy. It is indeed one of my favorite places to visit but it is more than a couple hours drive, so I don't make it as often as I would like to. :(
Thanks so much for your comment !!

I went to a butterfly exhibit recently a year round indoor featuring 1000 butterflies but they didn't have this one.I was allowed to go in for 20 minutes and some of the butterflies were the size of your hand amazing..A first time for me...So I understand your love of such a wonderful place.
